After transferring to the launch site, an experienced guide will give a safety briefing.

In protection of natural resources, a catch-and-release policy for all fish caught has been adopted.Whether you are a serious angler, recreational fisherman or first timer – there is enjoyment to be had by all.

A variety of wildlife can also be viewed along the river, from hippo and crocodiles or watch the other "fishers" of the river such as the fish eagle and kingfishers.

A fishing safari offers a memorable day on the river and an opportunity to tell of “the elusive big one that got away!”

General Information

- No Children under 12 (unless by prior arrangement).
- Indemnity must be signed.
- No previous experience necessary.
- No fishing permitted on the Zambezi from mid Jan to mid Feb.

You need to bring:

- Hat.
- Sunscreen.
- Light cool clothing.
- Non-slip shoes or sandals.
- Single warm jacket for early mornings/late evenings.
- Passport if arriving from Zimbabwe or Botswana.

Excursions include:

- Transfers to and from hotel/lodge to launch site.
- Equipment and Tackle.
- Refreshments.
- Boat, fuel, guide.

Pick Up Times

Morning half day: 06h30 - 11h30
Afternoon half day: 14h00 - 18h30

Notes:

- Excursions are confirmed on a minimum of 2 guests (maximum 16 pax).
- Fly fishermen catered for on request.
